Hello everyone. I am so sorry it’s been so long since I have been able to update you on what’s been going on with me. Being Miss Michigan Galaxy is the coolest job ever. Ok, by now most of you know that I was on TLC’s Toddlers and Tiara’s with my Client Isabella. Well after that I went to New York and shoot with Steve Azzara and amazing photographer for the Most Beautiful Edition of Supermodels Unlimited magazine under the Beauty Queen section. The magazine is available now in most Barnes and Nobles, so please pick up a copy and support me. Also, if you know me send me a message and you can buy one from me. I decided that I will show you other photos from the shoot that I just got back. Also being a pageant coach, I have been super busy at pageants every weekend. I couldn’t ask for a better job. I love my girls! I had the best holiday season. For Thanksgiving I was in Orlando at Disney World with my clients at Coed National Pageant we had so much fun. For Christmas, I took a few days off and spent time with my family. It was nice to have a real day off, also I was able to work with an amazing organization and help alot of people. Stay Tuned…

Today, was the best appearance. I brought my pageant little sister with me to meet Ginuwine at River Day’s in Detroit, Michigan. I have been his biggest fan since I was 10 years old and almost fainted when she sung and I got my photo with him. This wasn’t the only thing I did a River Day’s but it was defiantly the highlight.

Galaxy International – July 7-12 in Tampa, FL

Wow, Internationals was such a blast. I was glad that I was able to go down there with my new director and sister queens. It was nice to have there love and support. Also my super mom and mr. miss michigan came down to support me as well. My pageant big sister and best friend were just a phone call away. I don’t know what I would have done without them. I thought I would share with everyone some of my experiences. I would also like to let my successor now that if internationals is held in florida again, bring lots of hairspray and anti-frizz hair care products because it was extremly humid.

I won these PJ’s at Steve and Buster the day after I won Miss Michigan Galaxy to celebrate. I had to play a million games to get enough tickets. But It was worth it. Jennifer was so sweet and down to earth.

It was truly an honor to meet Valerie Hayes. She has been a role model of mine since I started to getting her newsletters. I aspire to be like her and would love to be on her show one day. Hopefully she reads this or this gets back to her. She was even nicer in person then I imagined and I appreciate that.

East Middle School Dating Violence Speaker

I was honored when Safehouse Teen Voice asked me to speak at East Middle School in Canton. I spoke to an all female class on dating violence. I was able to share my story and give prevention tips if someone is to be in a situation where they feel threated in a dating situation. Also I spoke I signed autographs and held

a question and answer segment. I was suprised at how many people had already been affected by this situation. It just confirmed to me that I need to focus on our youth not just teenagers and young adults.

Wow, Today was an amazing day. I had the opportunity to appear on the taping of season two of the popular TLC show Toddlers & Tiaras. One of my clients is going to be featured in an episode and I am in a segment as her image consultant. I have had the pleasure of assisting and mentoring a lot of young girls. I was glad that I was able to spread the word about the galaxy pageant. I can’t tell too many details because it won’t air until the fall but be on the look out. I was glad that I was able to do it because it shows that my client and myself are just regular people who enjoy the personal development of pageantry.

Michigan International Women’s Show – May 2

Today I had a blast with my sister queen Holly.  We attended the Michigan International Women’s Expo at the Rock Financial Showplace in Novi. We worked at the Ladies Home Journal booth where we signed the guest up for a subscription.

Later that day, while I was able to meet Pro Beach Volleyball Player Gabrielle Reece. Gabrielle is also the spokesperson for Simply Nutrilite, a line of vitamins and supplements.

Take Back the Night

I was honored to be invited to Eastern Michigan Universities “Take Back the Night” awareness, prevention,and elimination of sexual assault. This is an annual event that is always held in April during Sexual Assault Awareness month. As a survivor of sexual assault, I started the speak out segment, where I was able to tell my story and discuss prevention tips. After that we marched around the university saying several chants. My favorite one was “Hey Mister, Mister Get your hands off my sister” and “Hey Hey, Ho Ho, Sexual Assault has got to go”.
